Physical and chemical properties
This product is a colorless needle-like crystal. The industrial product is a light yellow to brown transparent liquid, easily soluble in water, and liberates ethylene in alkaline dao solution, with low toxicity.

Features
It is a broad-spectrum hormone plant growth regulator, which is easily absorbed by plants and promotes plant maturity. Ethephon can increase the activity of peroxidase in plants, reduce the apex growth advantage, promote fruit maturity, dwarf and be strong, change the ratio of male to female flowers, induce male sterility in crops, and be used in tomato, zucchini, watermelon, etc. The crops are dipped in flowers and fruits, which can increase the ripening of female flowers and increase yield.
How to use
(1) 40% ethephon 500 times liquid (4 ml with 1 kg of water), spray the tomatoes and zucchini flowers or directly ethephon spray once to prevent falling flowers and fruits and ripening.
(2) 2000 to 4000 times solution of 40% ethephon (0.5 to 1 ml/kg), spraying the whole plant at the 3 to 4 leaf stage of the crop once, can increase the rate of female flowers and fruiting.
Precautions
(1) Can not be mixed with alkaline drugs to avoid decomposition and failure.
(2) It cannot be applied when the temperature is lower than 20 degrees Celsius, and the spray must be refilled within 6 hours after spraying.
(3) Ethephon is irritating to human eyes and skin. Take care to protect it. It is corrosive to metals. The spraying equipment should be rinsed off in time after use.
