Mechanism of Action

◆ Penoxsulam: Penoxsulam is an ALS (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor, which disrupts the synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids in susceptible plants, leading to the inhibition of cell division and growth. This ultimately causes the death of the weed.

◆ Cyhalofop-butyl: Cyhalofop-butyl is an ACCase (Acetyl-CoA carboxylase) inhibitor, which interferes with lipid biosynthesis, preventing the formation of essential cell membrane components in grassy weeds. It selectively targets grass weeds while being safe for rice.

Haloxyfop-P-methyl is used post-emergence for control of annual and perennial grasses in sugar beet, fodder beet, oilseed rape, potatoes, leaf vegetables, onions, flax, sunflowers, soya beans, vines, strawberries and other crops.
