This herbicide belongs to the aromatic phenoxypropionic acid class and is an internally absorbed and conductive herbicide used for post shoot stem and leaf treatment. It kills weeds by inhibiting plant meristematic tissues and is applied to broad-leaved crops such as soybean, cotton, and rapeseed. It can control most annual grasses in the field.
